Event Details

*This workshop runs over two evenings on November the 13th and 20th*

Ever run a workshop that’s gone nowhere? Or found yourself talking nonsense to a full room?  Or maybe you’ve been sabotaged by difficult personalities? If you want to learn how to dodge bullets, beat the baddies and deliver valuable outcomes, this is the course for you.

Whether you’re a facilitation newbie or you’ve been doing it for a while, these classes will help you engineer success in your workshops.

You’ll learn to:

  • Prepare workshops that deliver real value for stakeholders;
  • Guide a group with confidence;
  • Create an environment conducive to creative thinking;
  • Manage difficult personalities with tact and ease.

In our first session, you’ll learn facilitation fundamentals, try out basic planning and facilitation skills, and learn how to deal with different kinds of personalities. We’ll finish the night by preparing a personal workshop outline each.

In our second session, you’ll report back on the workshop you ran, we’ll troubleshoot as a group and look at how we build workshops with flexibility.

NOTE: To get the most value out of this course, we highly recommend you run a workshop between weeks 1 & 2. This can be with colleagues or any other group, it doesn’t matter – the application of Week One’s learnings are the most important outcome.
