The Ultimate Toolkit for a Solo UX Designer
21 March 2019
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Academy Xi, Level 3, 45 Exhibition St, Melbourne VIC 3000
One of the top skills of a User Experience (UX) Designer is being able to collaborate and deliver change in cross-functional, dynamic teams. Even our full-time UX Transform students get to experience what it’s like to be a UX Designer in the industry by working in teams to deliver three live client projects.
But not every industry or company has the luxury of having a team of highly-skilled UX Designers on call. For many startups and businesses, a single designer may be asked to deliver the end-to-end UX requirements of a specific brand or product.
So how do you deliver quality experiences that delight as a single UX Designer?
At our workshop, The Ultimate Toolkit for a Solo UX Designer, we’ll explore:
- How Lean UX methodologies can be utilised, regardless of budget
- How to engage in research without breaking the bank
- Basic UX tools and prototyping techniques
- An intro into Usability Testing tools
- What insights you can get with data
- Mechanisms to track the success of your design
